TBS Design Gallery, in partnership with Fedustria, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), and Renson Inc., is set to host an exclusive event on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, highlighting the best of Belgian design, innovation, and sustainability.
From Belgium to the Bay: An Afternoon of Design will bring together leaders in architecture, landscape design, and high-performance building solutions for a panel discussion and networking reception. Panelists include Jonathan Feldman (Feldman Architecture), Sarah Warto (Boxleaf Design Landscape Architecture), Maxim De Vriese (Renson USA), and Karla Basselier (CEO, Fedustria), moderated by Liana Nitsetskaia of TBS Design Gallery. Conversations will explore the intersection of architecture and landscape, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions, energy efficiency, innovative materials, and cross-continental collaboration.
At the heart of the event is a landmark partnership between TBS Design Gallery and Fedustria, formalized through a Joint Declaration of Intent. The gathering coincides with the Belgian Economic Mission to the West Coast, led by Princess Astrid of Belgium, and will host Belgian delegates and business owners, emphasizing its exclusivity and international significance.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience cutting-edge Belgian products from brands including Royal Botania, Renson, Heatsail, Umbrosa, and Reynaers, while enjoying Belgian-inspired culinary offerings such as handcrafted waffles, curated hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and Belgian beer.
“This is more than a discussion; it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and design excellence,” Liana Nitsetskaia. “We are thrilled to bring Belgium’s extraordinary design heritage to the Bay Area and create a space for dialogue, inspiration, and collaboration.”
The collaboration also marks the beginning of Belgian Design Days, launching in San Francisco in 2026. TBS Design Gallery will serve as the premier platform for discovery, presenting Belgian creativity at its finest, while Fedustria will coordinate its member companies to showcase a collective vision of innovation and artistry. Together, the partners aim to create lasting cultural and commercial connections, inviting audiences to experience Belgian design in immersive and unexpected ways.
