Milan once again affirmed what we have long believed at TBS Design Gallery: exceptional design is never about product alone. That philosophy has always been at the heart of TBS Design Gallery. At Salone del Mobile 2026, we explored each showroom with a singular focus: identifying the ideas and partnerships that elevate the environments our clients create.
Among the standout presentations was Laurameroni. Their installation was a study in texture, proportion, and surface detail, showcasing an increasingly rare level of artisanal customization.

Similarly with Oikos, the impact was immediate. Their monumental entrances transformed arrival into an architectural experience, demonstrating how a door can set the tone for an entire residence.

This approach to design continues to guide our partnerships with Belgium’s leading outdoor brands, whose collections combine innovation, durability, and understated elegance. Building on those relationships, we were especially excited to begin the soft launch of Best of Belgium Design Days in California in collaboration with Fedustria and Flanders Investment & Trade. The initiative will introduce a carefully curated European design dialogue to our local community of architects and designers.

Another standout moment was the unveiling of the collaboration between La Cornue and John Michael Studio. The collection brought together French heritage and American craftsmanship in a way that felt warm, refined, and deeply timeless. Across the fair, one theme emerged again and again: a move away from excess and toward designs created to last.

Longevity. Material integrity. Architectural presence. These are the qualities we have always valued at TBS Design Gallery.
As we return from Milan, we look forward to sharing these discoveries with our community through upcoming presentations, private events, and curated experiences.
The conversation continues.
