The Galley

What elements turn an average kitchen into a “dream kitchen?” A gorgeous countertop? A beautifully-tiled backsplash? Elegant cabinetry? High-end appliances?

A kitchen can be luxurious, stylish, and beautiful, but if it is not functional, it has failed in its purpose.

But a kitchen that is built only for efficiency may be overlooking the fact that this space is frequently the communal meeting space of the home — the hub, the heart. The literal and metaphorical “warmth” of the space makes it a draw, so that as meals are being prepared, family and friends are gathering close to the “flames.” It’s where conversation happens, sharing of your day, laughing together, unburdening your heart, knitting together and strengthening the relationships of those who enter this space.

That’s where The Galley comes in.

The Galley is a kitchen workstation built to face people — not the wall.

Nestled in an island, it allows you to prepare, serve, entertain, and clean up all in one convenient place. The Galley Workstation line is highly customizable with six lengths and single- and double-bowl configurations.

With your Galley, you can chop, strain and mix easily and ergonomically to prepare a meal and efficiently transition to cooking nearby. By configuring various serving boards, it is possible to quickly and conveniently transform your work space into a serving station and set out drinks and hors d'oeuvres for guests. Contain the mess within your Galley and clean as you prepare, cook, serve and entertain.

Slide the Galley culinary tools above and below each other to prepare a meal efficiently. Invite others to join in the fun and work side by side at a two- or three-person workstation. The kitchen is even more functional with a cooktop installed next to the workstation.

The materials used to craft the Galley’s Ideal Workstations meet the highest industry standards for both quality and workmanship. The cutting boards themselves are FDA-approved and are entirely food safe.

The Galley Tap is a beautiful and remarkably functional kitchen faucet line that has been ergonomically designed and engineered with dimensions that are specifically suited for the Galley Workstation. Available in six stainless steel finishes, it is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

The greatest amount of time spent in the kitchen is at the sink, and that experience should no longer be an afterthought in the kitchen design process.

The Galley represents a whole new category of kitchen appliance and each workstation is thoughtfully designed, engineered and hand-crafted in the USA.
